Ghost Wins Grammis
Ghost, led by Tobias Forge, has won the Grammis Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal for their latest album 'Skeletá'. The award was presented on Wednesday, April 29, at Annexet in Stockholm. Tobias Forge expressed his gratitude to all those involved in the creation of 'Skeletá', stating he was 'incredibly grateful' and jokingly said 'I hope, even after having been here rambling in this speech without notes, people will still want this record for all eternity'. Ghost received the award from Joey Tempest of Europe, who later shared a congratulatory message on social media. The band was nominated in six categories, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year. 'Skeletá' has been a commercial success, with the band embarking on a world tour to promote the album. The win marks a triumphant end to the current cycle for Ghost, with Tobias Forge having announced a temporary hiatus from live performances.
