Elizabeth

Elizabeth was Ghost's first official release, a 7-inch vinyl launched in June 2010 with a limited run of 500 copies through Iron Pegasus Records in Germany. The A-side, 'Elizabeth', is a tribute to the 16th-century Hungarian countess Elizabeth Báthory, with the dark melody and heavy groove that would define the band's sound. The B-side contains an early version of 'Death Knell'. This vinyl was the one that reached Lee Dorrian (Cathedral), who was so impressed that he offered Ghost a deal with his Rise Above Records label, unleashing everything that would follow.
