Martin Hjertstedt
“Pebble / Earth #2 (Earth element Ghoul)”
Ghost's second drummer; part of the lineup during the Meliora era and the start of the Popestar tour. Martin Hjertstedt was Ghost's second drummer, joining in 2014 to replace the first drummer 'Crust' during the transition between the Infestissumam and Meliora eras. He was publicly identified through the documents of the 2017 lawsuit. Hjertstedt played at the shows of the Meliora cycle, which was Ghost's most commercially successful period up to that point, including the tour that culminated in the Grammy win for Best Metal Performance for 'Cirice' in 2016. In 2017, he was one of four former Nameless Ghouls who sued Tobias Forge over his share of album and touring revenues. The lawsuit was dismissed in October 2018 by the Linköping District Court, and the plaintiffs were ordered to pay Forge's legal costs.
