Phantomime
Phantomime is Ghost's third official covers EP, released on May 19, 2023. The band chose five iconic songs from very different genres and decades, from Television's post-punk to Tina Turner's glam pop, passing through the Iron Maiden classic. The selection reflects Tobias Forge's omnivorous musical taste and Ghost's ability to inhabit foreign genres without losing their identity. The lead single 'Jesus He Knows Me', a cover of the Genesis hit, went viral for its irony about televangelism and became one of the band's most discussed tracks that year.
