Jutty Taylor
Justin 'Jutty' Taylor
“Swiss / Multi #1 (Multi-instrumentalist Ghoul; also portrayed Papa Nihil on stage)”
Key multi-instrumentalist of the Prequelle/Impera era; portrayed the Papa Nihil character on stage playing saxophone during 'Miasma'. Jutty Taylor was one of the most versatile and fan-beloved Ghouls during the Prequelle/Impera era. As a multi-instrumentalist, he played guitar, tambourine, and performed backing vocals, but his most iconic role was portraying the fictional character Papa Nihil on stage: an elderly figure who appeared during 'Miasma' playing a saxophone solo wearing 1960s-era clothing. This dual performance —as a Nameless Ghoul and as a character from Ghost's lore— made him a unique figure in the band's history. Papa Nihil is one of the central characters in Ghost's narrative, the 'original Papa' who preceded all others. Taylor also worked with Jutty Ranx and developed solo projects outside of Ghost. In April 2025, it was confirmed by Ghost crew member Vanessa Warwick that Taylor had left Ghost 'for personal reasons', being replaced for the Skeletour 2025.
