Main lead guitarist since the Prequelle era; the Ghoul with the most continuity in the current lineup. Per Eriksson has been Ghost's lead guitarist since 2018, being the Ghoul with the greatest continuity in the current lineup. He is Swedish, which naturally connects him to the musical world of Linköping from which Ghost originates. Before Ghost, Eriksson was primarily known in Scandinavian extreme metal for his work as guitarist of Bloodbath (2008–2017), the Swedish death metal superband, and of Katatonia (2010–2014). His lead guitar technique, which combines melodic precision with metal power, fit perfectly with Ghost's style. He was publicly identified in May 2022 thanks to the group photo posted by Chris Catalyst. Fans in the community assigned him the nickname 'Sodo'. He participated in the entirety of the Imperatour and the Skeletour 2025, being along with Cos Sylvan and Hayden Scott one of the pillars of the current lineup's rhythmic and melodic section.
