Infestissumam
Infestissumam —Latin for 'most hostile'— was Ghost's first album on a major label (Loma Vista/Republic Records/Universal) and marked a qualitative leap in production and ambition. Produced by Nick Raskulinecz and released in April 2013, the album reached #1 in Sweden and proved that Ghost could scale without losing their identity. Their most epic track, "Year Zero", required a 32-voice choir for its recording. That same year, Ghost released the covers EP "If You Have Ghost", produced by Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), which included covers of ABBA, Roky Erickson and Army of Lovers. At the 2014 Grammys, the band was nominated for their work on this album, beginning a relationship with the academy that would culminate in their 2016 victory.
